Bianca Akweley Clinton Esq. LL.B, Solicitor, Gh. Bar

Bianca is a Partner at Clinton Consultancy with a focus on Human Rights Law and Banking Law.

Bianca studied Microeconomics part-time at the University of Oxford, Oxford, England until July 2019. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana (since 2005) and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales (since 2009). 

Her background at Clinton Consultancy includes defending high profile projects in Ghana (mostly European Union sponsored) as well as managing Banking, Risk and Compliance projects in Switzerland and Ghana. In particular Bianca specializes in banking, risk assessment and liaised with government departments on behalf of clients and compliance protocol. Bianca recently updated her skills with a distinction certificate in Compliance and Risk from BPP University in London, England.

In her position at Clinton Consultancy she advised local and international clients in a number of industries, including legal matters relating to human rights protection, advocacy, sensitization, petroleum, commodities, Foreign Exchange (FX), corporate finance, investment protocol, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Oil and Gas, Corporate & Commercial and Corporate Governance as well as negotiating and drafting commercial finance agreements. In addition, Bianca has exceptional knowledge of data processing and information analysis skills with the drive of service, excellence, integrity and understanding of client’s individual needs in order to structure deal on behalf of Clinton Consultancy and our clients.

In a prominent banking comparison assessment across Europe, Bianca scored within the top 5% of 1,000 professionals for showing resilience and an exceptional ability to process complex and detailed information.
